Free guide: Protect Your Child from Emotional Manipulation → Download

Co-parenting with a narcissist?
You can still protect your child's emotional world.

I'm Dr. Naaila Chagani, and I help emotionally safe parents protect their children and raise kids who trust themselves, no matter what the other home teaches.

THIS WORK IS FOR YOU IF...

WHAT YOU'RE LIVING WITH

  • An ex who manipulates, rewrites the truth, and uses your child as leverage

  • Your child coming home a little different, repeating things that aren't true

  • The exhaustion of being the steady one, every single time

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY WANT

  • To stop pouring energy into the other parent and be present with your child

  • To know your child is able to see and protect themselves from the manipulation

  • To know the patterns stop here, and your child builds something healthier than what they're being shown

Which direction is your child moving right now?

When one parent is manipulative, a child doesn't stay untouched by it. Every day, your child is being shaped in one of three directions.

TURNING IT INWARD

They start to believe the confusion is their fault and carry it silently. This is the path toward anxiety, depression, and a child who has learned to make themselves very small.

PULLING AWAY

They start to pull away from you, the safe parent, and toward the version of reality the other home is building. This is the path toward alienation from the safe parent.

STAYING WHOLE

They can name what's happening, trust their own reality, and stay true to themselves, even in the face of manipulation.

You can't control what happens in the other home. But the parent your child comes home to is the one who decides which of those three becomes their story. That's you. And it's more within your reach than it feels right now.

About Dr. Naaila Chagani

I hold a PhD in Child Development, and I've spent my career understanding how adults build emotional resilience in children.

But this work is also personal. I'm a bonus mom who lives this. So I know the specific exhaustion of trying to stay steady for a child while a manipulative co-parent works against that steadiness. And I know your child can come through this with themselves intact, because mine is.

I combine child development science, nervous system regulation, and energy healing to help you protect your child's authentic self, and to help your child learn to trust themselves no matter what the other home teaches. I'm also the author of Seeds of Self-Trust, a children's book that teaches kids to recognize tricky people and trust their own inner compass.

See how I think about this

In my YouTube channel, I break down what emotional manipulation looks like in a child's world, and what a safe parent can do about it.

Why the court and the therapist aren't enough

A good lawyer protects your child's time and safety on paper. A good therapist helps your child heal after something has already hurt them. Both matter.

But there is a piece that usually goes unowned, and it is the one that changes the most.

THE BOND

Strengthening the connection between you and your child, so they feel safe, seen, and secure enough to trust their own read on things.

YOUR STEADINESS

Learning to stay grounded yourself, so what your child receives from you is steadiness rather than the anxiety the other home is generating.

THEIR INNER COMPASS

Helping your child build self-trust, so fewer things wound them in the first place, and the ones that do have somewhere safe to land.

That is the work I do with you.

“I'm worried it's already too late.”

Strengthening the connection between you and your child, so they feel safe, seen, and secure enough to trust their own read on things.

“My ex is never going to change.”

You're right, and you don't need them to. The influence you're looking for was never in the other house. It's in the home your child comes back to. That's the part you can actually change.

“I've already spent so much on lawyers and counseling.”

Then you know how much of it protects your child after the fact. This is the part that works before the fact, so there's less for the lawyers and counselors to clean up later.
